These are normally given to the JROTC units or other Units that allow their Cadets or Young Marines to regularly wear medals.  These are for returning cadets.  The High School JROTC units will receive 6, notionally two for 9th, 10th and 11th grades.  Often, they are awarded one for a male and one for a female in each grade but that is not a hard rule.  A certificate is part of the award, NO CITATION REQUIRED. We try to have these ready for you by your end of the year award ceremony.  If we have the names by mid March, we can usually give these to the Unit COs or their representative at our Awards ceremony in April so that they may be presented at your discretion later.   We have additional awards available for ‘Spot Recognition’ at other times of the year.  Contact us if you are interested in receiving any of these prior to the April awards ceremony.
